Should I include my roommate's or guarantor's income on my application?

Learn whose income to include on your own application — and what roommates and guarantors should do instead.

Quick Answer

No — only include your own income on your application. Roommates and guarantors each need to add their income on their own individual applications.

How Household Income Works in 100

Each person in a household applies individually and verifies their own income. 100 then combines the verified income across all household members automatically to calculate the household's Pre-Approved Amount.

You do not need to — and should not — enter anyone else's income on your application.

Quick Guide by Role

Primary Applicant

Enter only your own income. Your roommate's or guarantor's income will be added when they complete their own application.

Roommate

You'll receive an invite from the Primary applicant. Log in with your own account and verify your own income — do not use the Primary applicant's account or add your income to their profile.

Guarantor

You'll receive a separate invite to complete your own guarantor application. Do not create an account in the applicant's name and enter your income there — this causes significant issues with the application and verification process. Always apply using your own name and information.

Important: Creating an account under someone else's name is not permitted and will delay the application. Each person must apply using their own identity.
